Dear Deviantart,

I've been around, but not around here. It's been over a year since I have typed anything in this "journal." That's not to say that I haven't had things to say, just not things to say here. Time is an odd thing, Steven Wright said that. It's true. At the time of my last entry here, things were looking up and everything was on the verge of being grand. Things were, then things weren't. Now I'm 19 and on my way towards manhood. Working and paying bills and living life for myself. Just last night I was thinking about the albums I listened to when I first got into music. Of course now I would never think of listening to such things, but it harkons back to a time when things were different, for sure.

Nostalgia is something else.

I've been busy with a new job and have not had the time or creativity to come up with anything new in quite some time. I have a friend visiting this upcoming week and we have a few plans. I'm hoping to get a few shots of the city while she's here.

and sorry about the lack of comments. I do check out each deviantion and generally like everything I see though.

Life isn't all that bad right now.

I was thinking, tonight, about something. There are so many people that I'll never know. It's sort of bewildering to think about.
